Summary: It is the year 2017 and word has come from beyond the Sea: it is time for the last remaining Elves to sail. But not everyone has received the message. Erestor and others set out on a road trip to find Glorfindel, the missing elf.

I wasn't going to sign up for either but with the NaNo gone to hell, well. I blame it on you. :P

I hope I get a better assignment from SeSa. Last year's was dreadful. I don't think I'm very good at using the AO3 forms. I give a lot of leeway as I do in manually matched swaps but automatic matching isn't as smart as real people. Cross your fingers for me!

I chickened out on SeSa. I looked at the requests and could see the only one Ao3 would give me and - no thanks :( I don't know what happened this time, there was such a big selection last year. I'm still doing the lotr_comm/MPTT Yule though - at least you get to choose your own prompt there! (I need to get mine in, they've moved the date and are closing sign ups on Monday and so of course I'm procrastinating now. Because I can, yes)

See? I do fail at the new SeSa format - I didn't even know you could see the requests. Also, I think there must be something wrong with the forms... or maybe it's just me, but it allows any fandoms. On other swaps I've entered at AO3 I could only see the fandoms that we're supposed to write in.

That's weird, I'm sure it only offered Tolkien last time. I wish they had left it on LJ, I'd have signed up then. Probably as well though, now I'll only have the lotr_comm Yule to worry about. And Flamingo, of course. The fic that knows no end :(
