This is the place where artists sign up for the OEAM Big Bang. Art can be original drawn or digital art or graphics or a combination. Simply put, it's whatever works for you and your writer. If you want to do your own art, then you still need to sign up and say so. If you have an artist and they're not a member of this group, they do need to join and sign up. If you're an artist and don't know what you want to do, look through the writers’ signups and see what is available. Claims will come later.

Writing time ended yesterday. Your story should be ready to go to beta soon and since only one of you has asked me to find you a beta, I assume that you all have one. If not, let me know. You should have your story proofread and delivered to your beta no later than Feb. 15 and they should, in turn, have it back to you by March 16. We will begin posting them(along with art) on April 1. I ask that you post them to OEAM and/or the Big Bang Archive I have set up at Ao3. AND Post a link here when it's time. If you need an Ao3 code, I still have a few.

Artists! WE NEED MORE! I know we have artists for 2, maybe 3 works but we need more. If you're an artist, please claim the work you want to do if you haven't done so already. If you know an artist, please send them here. We can use any type: graphic art, drawing/painting, photo manips... anything you can do to help out!

If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

HI all~

Only ONE week left to sign up for the 2nd Annual OEAM Big Bang then the fun begins. Next Sunday, Sept 30, will be the last day to sign up to write. Beta signups and Writing time begins October 1. We have 16 signups so far and I intend to signup but we'd love lots more so I'd love you all to promote wherever you are! I have a big ol' banner you can use that links back to the main page - send me an email for the html.

We have one beta so far so if you can beta or you know someone who'd like to, please have them sign up. The signup post will go up tomorrow. I am betaing for one person and might take on one more.

Artists have a long time to sign up, through January. If you want to do art as well, please do. If you know some artists, send them along to sign up! Remember, the art can be original, digital or Photoshopped stuff so you have plenty of leeway.

A couple of things:
-- I'd like to have the stories or a link to them posted here when the posting time comes.
-- We have a Collection at Ao3 and I have a few more codes that I can give out closer to posting time if you don't have one. I'd love to have them all posted there too.
-- If you have a co-writer, they need to signup too.

HI all,

We have a little more than a month until posting begins. I have decided that posting will begin Feb. 21 and go through Feb. 25. You will be assigned a posting day. Your stories should be about done by now. They ought to be at beta and sent to me to give to your artist by February 1st. If you've made other arrangements with your artist, let me know.

I am going to work on getting artists to actually make claims. So far, we are short a few. If you know someone, send them here soon. Several people have said they'd do it but not signed up. I will not allow art from artists who did not bother to join the Big Bang community and sign up.

I have two authors who have not checked in in some time. I have sent emails and they do not answer. If you can contact

torezhan and

essenja_08, please have them contact me ASAP. Also, if you're a maybe, I need to know if you're going to get done or not so I can get you an artist too.

I'm not requiring a check-in but I'd like it if you'd let me know where you are.

HI all,

Only 12 more days to sign up for our OEAM Big Bang. We have 18 sign-ups so far for stories and 3 artists. We need more of both. Many more. Here is where you can sign up to write and here is where the art sign ups are.

There is also an unofficial beta thread at the community. Please let me know there if you’d like to beta for someone and what fandom, etc. The real beta sign-ups aren’t until October but I do know that some folks are writing already and might want to beta as they go.

Please pimp this challenge at your communities and groups and even on your personal journals, if you would. We need more writers from our diverse fandoms!

Thanks to those who have helped so far too. Anorienparker and Lotrangel17 have helped with banners and charts. I will probably need some help when we get to the sending out rough drafts and such part of this, especially if we have more writers!

On a personal note, I have finally decided on a fandom and story. Yay for me. I need to sign myself up!

NOW hurry to the community and sign up for something!
