Summary:Sauron faces Manwë after his defeat in the Ring War. Manwë is of the opinion that Sauron could have led a different life if Melkor had not led him astray. He sends Sauron to be reborn in England, to all intents and purposes as a human. He has also removed his memory of who he used to be.
Sauron’s life is beset by early tragedy, but he also finds love and takes the opportunity to be who he wants to be. Nothing lasts forever; Manwë has a job for Sauron, one which literally could tip the balance of good and evil, thus affecting the final outcome of the approaching Dagor Dagorath. It will also mean the end of the world as Sauron knows it.
Will Sauron be able to fulfil Manwë’s command? On which side will Sauron fight in the final battle? More importantly, will Sauron be reunited with his dead human lover, and who is he really? Read and you will find out!

While this mostly follows the appendixes, I have stepped out on a limb and made Gamling a Marshal – of the Wold. (Well, it IS said in the appendixes that Éomer redid how things were done militarily after the War. Maybe the fact the Wold needed a Marshal was kinda forgotten.)
Summary:
In the Appendixes of the Return of the King, Tolkien states that in the last days of the Third Age, Éomer, King of Rohan married Lothiriel, Princess of Dol Amroth. He also states that they had at least one child – a son, who greatly favored his maternal grandfather. He does not give specifics – was it a love match, a political match, an arranged marriage? Eternal romantic that I am, I would prefer…Love Rohirrim Style.

HI all,

Only 12 more days to sign up for our OEAM Big Bang. We have 18 sign-ups so far for stories and 3 artists. We need more of both. Many more. Here is where you can sign up to write and here is where the art sign ups are.

There is also an unofficial beta thread at the community. Please let me know there if you’d like to beta for someone and what fandom, etc. The real beta sign-ups aren’t until October but I do know that some folks are writing already and might want to beta as they go.

Please pimp this challenge at your communities and groups and even on your personal journals, if you would. We need more writers from our diverse fandoms!

Thanks to those who have helped so far too. Anorienparker and Lotrangel17 have helped with banners and charts. I will probably need some help when we get to the sending out rough drafts and such part of this, especially if we have more writers!

On a personal note, I have finally decided on a fandom and story. Yay for me. I need to sign myself up!
